Manufactures have stated that  thermogenics have the capacity to aid in the weight loss struggle. Thermogenics refers to the bodies ability to use heat to burns calories and thus achieve a healthier self. It seems that the best way to truly burn excess calories is to incorporate exercise into your regular routine . The selling point on theses supplements is that they operate off the premise being a ” stimulant” mostly herbal alone or in combination. These stimulants , mostly caffeine or ephedrine purportedly help to increase energy levels , suppress appetite and burn fat.  In addition to the risk of  addiction,  ephedrine can cause such side effects as irregular heart beat, insomnia, and elevated blood pressure. As far as weight loss is concerned, don’t be surprised if you regain every pound you lost once you stop taking supplements containing ephedra or other stimulants.
